AQA Comparison of approaches

Compare’ ‘ questions can be asked on any topic, but it is easy to forget that you might be asked to compare approaches within Paper 2. The injunction ‘compare’ requires you to identify similarities and/or differences.

In this article, we will explore some of the ways you can make comparisons between the five approaches. We will also look at how to reword some of these comparison points if you are just writing standard evaluation (AO3) points in an approaches essay, i.e. how you can get marks for comparing two approaches without being asked to compare.
