In October 2020, the Legal Services Board (LSB) approved the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE), which will affect how prospective solicitors qualify. A student who has graduated before 2021 can choose to take the existing Legal Practice Course (LPC) or the proposed new SQE.
