Follow the money: trends in wealth inequality in British society

A note from the editors…

Regrettably, this is the last issue of Sociology Review. Over 35 volumes and 140 issues covering a timespan of well over 30 years we, the editors, past and present, have tried to bring you the very best of new work in sociology for A-level students. We have allied this to support materials on examination performance, key sociological concepts, and short pieces on new research in the discipline. One of the great strengths of Sociology Review is its capacity to bring the very latest developments to our readers in ways that make sense for A-level study – and we have enjoyed hugely that challenge.

We want to thank all our contributors who have expressed great pleasure at the quality of the presentation of their work. They have been huge fans of Sociology Review, and without them and their assiduous meeting of deadlines, the magazine simply would not have existed. We also want to express our thanks to our wonderful editors at Hachette Learning, who have always patiently dealt with our copy and converted it to the most visually arresting study material possible.
