WHO WERE THEY?

Readers of Physics Review will be very familiar with the name Peter Main. Over the last 35 years he contributed well over 100 articles to the magazine on topics ranging from space weather to gravitational waves, and from cycling to the physics of music.

Peter was involved in the original creation of Physics Review in the Physics Department at the University of York, and was a founding member of the Editorial Board. You can see a summary of some of the early articles he wrote here:
