Aggression and assertion are important topics in the sport psychology sections of the major exam boards.

Think about it: the hard tackle that wins the ball and gets the crowd on their feet, cheering in support; the players who surround the referee, shouting to try to influence future decisions in the game through intimidation; the jiu-jitsu player who applies a kimura armlock to gain a tap-out victory.
