One of the biomechanical principles that all exam boards require you to know is the principle of stability. It affects performers across all sports, regardless of whether they are individuals or teams. Can you think of a sport where stability is not important? There are even sports that take place on uneven surfaces – think of water-based sports like surfing, rowing, sailing and kayaking.
