QUESTION AND ANSWER
This Question and Answer uses questions in the style of AQA Paper 1 Physical Geography, summer 2022. The topics explored are from the ‘Hot desert systems and landscapes’ option and link to ideas such as desertification, climate change and the management of deserts and semi-arid areas. The sequence of questions ranges in tariff from 4 marks to 20 marks. Similar themes are found in some other specifications (Box 1), although question styles and mark tariffs will vary.
