Louise Anne Buchler is a poet, performer, director and playwright based in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. She previously lectured in drama and performance studies at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. Her areas of interest include voice, shock theatre, performance art and butoh (a style of Japanese modern dance). Her first collection, Your Woman is in Pieces, was published by Tears in the Fence in 2023.
